We were recently there and flew to culebra from san juan. It was great, the view is fabulous from the plane. I had a friend who was also there and it took her 7 hours to finally get to culebra by ferry from the time she got up and traveled to the ferry, got tickets, ferry broke down, waited for the cargo ferry, etc..... we got up at 7:30a, taxi to san juan airport (5 minutes) and we were in culebra by 8:30a or so. It is sooooo worth the plane ride. candy
