Recent Weather in Culebra
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Was hoping a local could quell my fears about the weather in Culebra over the past week or so. My boyfriend and I have plans to stay in Culebra from Fri 2/16-Weds 2/21 and I have been watching the weather report meticulously. Scattered clouds/partly cloudy seems to be a reoccuring theme. I understand that it is quite warm, but we're in dire need of SUN too. Any hope for us?

Thanks!!

Diana

It rains nearly every day on Culebra, somewhere, for about 20 minutes. In 15 or so visits, I've never not been able to go to the beach. Sunsets are boring without clouds to create the colors. Not to worry!

weather is the last thing to worry about - it's largely the same year-round. Prob. as Doug said there will be a light sprinkle, but it will pass soon.

The last time they had snow was January of 1933. It did sort of cripple business, but it was a treat for the kids.

The weather forecasters always say the weather will be partly cloudy that just means that you will have long periods of sunshine interrupted by periods of clouds which are an actual relief from the sun in the hot summer months. I was in Culebra the weekend of January 12th and the weather forecast was for partly cloudy sky's for the entire weekend. At Flamenco Beach the sun would be out for hours and would be interrupted by clouds for just a few mninutes at at a time. Don't worry you will get some sun.
