Weather and crowds in May???

I was looking into the weather in May and it seems to be the 2nd wetest month. With that being said, would you think the rain would be a concern? Also how are the mosquitos and crowds. I will be on the island from may 13-20. Thanks

Crowds ar minimal. It rains somewhere on the island just about every day during that time, but usually only for about 20 minutes or so. It was fun to check the breezes and the clouds and pick a new beach each day. Skeeters are always an issue on the lee side at sundown, but a bottle of Skin So Soft saves the day.
