It's worth noting that on the west side of the island, if you are in the protected areas of the refuge, (Theresa, correct me if I'm wrong on this) it is illegal to anchor except by using the anchor buoys. Please respect the fragile coral formations by using the buoys. Along with its beautiful beaches and friendly people, they are Culebra's finest resource.
