How's the road to Flamenco?
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Thanks to everyone who replied to my previous questions, especially Carlos!

Now, I know Carlos told me that it wasn't necessary for us to take our car, but my sister insists on taking hers. My question is, are the roads to Flamenco in good condition?

Yes, the road to Flamenco Beach is in good condition. The parking lot is a combination of dirt and gras, but are in good condition - I just got back from Culebra yesterday.

Well.... here go again!

The road to Flamenco Beach ( half of the way on concrete, and half on dirt ) it's not bad only if it's not rainning. Be prepare to run for about 5 to 10 minutes bumping around on a dirt road without streetlight, and John it's right, the last time( 2 weeks ago )that I was in Flamenco the "dirt road' was in good condition, not so bumping. So if she want to bring her car...no problem. Oh yes...LOL...check the schedule for the Cargo Ferry, I hear something about they made only one trip from Fajardo to Culebra daily...ooppss, sorry at 3:00 AM on the morning, I really don't know if they still making the second trip at 4:00 pm.

I hope you enjoy your trip.

AS far as the bumpy road, that's ok. When I lived in Puerto Rico, most of the roads I traveled were narro, bumpy, and dark, so I tihink we'll be ok as long as it's not completely a dirt road.

As for the ferry, AHHHHHHHH, 3AM!!!
I gotta check that out. I dont think our 3 year olds will appreciate being woken up in the middle of the night just because WE want to go to Culebra..I don't think I would appreciate myself wither...lol

Thanks!
