Just got back from Culebra, Thank you All!

I just want to say thank you to all the people that replied to my questions on Culebra. I just got back and I had the most amazing time of my life. Camping in a hammock on the beach was one of my dreams, and being able to do it on Flamenco beach made it super duper awesome. Although, I went on this journey by myself I had made lots of friends and both locals and other travelers were extremely friendly. Jose, one of the camp registration staffs was extremely thoughtful and helpful, since I was by myself he checked in on me to make sure that I was doing fine. I watched the sunset over the harbour, snorkeled and swam in 5 different beaches (Flamenco, Carlos Rosario, Tamarindo, Punta Soldado, and Tortuga). I swam with green sea turtles, stingrays, spiky urchins and other wild sea creatures. The best part of my adventure was being able to hike in an inhabited island of Culebrita. Being able to swim in the tidal pools, snorkeled in Tortuga and climbed up the Lighthouse were a fabulous experience. Culebrita is such a magical, magical place.

I had posted videos of my adventure on my youtube channel if you are interested in watching them. My youtube channel name is LAURAadventureseeker, all in one word. Here is the link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5MHa951e28&feature=share&list=UUEiXPbfzPurmvk_UYTKOBRQ

Oops, I meant an uninhabited island of Culebrita.

I loved your videos. Hoping to return to Culebra next year for 2 weeks but my husband loves creature comforts much too much to camp!! LOL. We do camp here in Tennessee though.

Hello Vicki and Hillman,
Thank you for liking my videos.

@ Hillman,
Yes, caring for nature is very important to me, because I believe you can only be as healthy as the state of the environment you're in. Therefore, it is very important for us to protect it.

@Vicki,
I understand what you mean about your husband, cause my boyfriend is the same. He loves to sleep in a bed.

For me I love to be immersed with nature as much as possible, and camping is one of the best ways to do that.

Cheers,
