USVI

I'm trying to find out if there is air service or ferry service between Fajardo and the USVI or between Culebra or Vieques and the USVI. Perhaps Air Flamenco or Vieques Air Link flies there? We were thinking of flying from the states to USVI and then to Culebra or Vieques and then eventually end up in San Juan or Fajardo. Any info anyone has would be great.

There are no ferries from USVI to PR. I do believe Cape Air flies from USVI to San Juan, but not Fajardo.

We flew Air Sunshine from Tortola to Vieques, via St. Thomas.

Cape Air and Air Sunshine serve the BVIs, USVIs, and Vieques from SJU. Air Sunshine flies from St. Thomas to Vieques.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I just wanted to share this with everyone too as another option. I found this service on the Vieques forum www.interislandwatertaxi.com They are a water taxi service but I don't know how much they charge. Most likely we will choose to fly but it’s nice to know of at least one water taxi option between the SVI and the USVI.

I checked prices on the interisland water taxi a year or two ago, and they were pretty pricey. If they are still in business, you can get an estimate via email. I suspect if you have a larger group and/or don't like to fly it's worth it.
