Schools in Culebra

Hello,

My family and I are planning on being in Culebra from January-March 2013. I am a middle school Spanish teacher in the USA and am interested in volunteering at the school in Culebra working with similar-aged kids (12-14) with a view to making connections between the kids in Culebra and back home in my classroom. In addition, I have kids aged 7 and 10 who I would like to put in the public schools. Any ideas, contacts, info related to this plan would be much appreciated! Hello Aaron,

I might not be of good help, but, if you want to volunteer, the best way to find your way around would be when you get here. I myself moved here with my partner almost one month ago and just now am getting to volunteer for different things.

As for your kids, I believe that the Escuela Ecologica would be the ideal school. I have not found anything or any contacts, but I believe once you're here, you would be able to get all that info.

Hi...when you get to the Island a good point to start would be the owner of the EDEN Restaurant, I think she is well acquaintance with the schools here. You could check with her to see if she has some ideas for you.
