Yeah, Jerry told me not to drive to Punta Soldado too but I did (don't tell!). I've driven roads like that since I was a kid so didn't have any problems. I did get to watch a car trying to get out of the crater at Zoni, though, which was entertaining in a way. If people are used to driving back roads in the mountains they should be fine, but for those who've never ventured off the pavement it can be an adventure.
