All I can say is that Culebra and PR are two very different places, though there are some great spots out of the city that remind me of Culebra.
I've had bad coffee on the big island, rude service, etc. and I've had great coffee and wonderful service...but as we told the Tourism Board during a meeting here, we aren't targeting the same sort of tourism that SJ is.
Culebra can only support so many visitors at a time and sometimes that number gets overwhelming for our infastructure. We're not St. Barts, we're not even Jost Van Dyke. We are what we are, and some people love that, while some find it an experience they can do without.
So you found a place you like to have breakfast. Excellent! Don't go back to the places you don't like. Seems pretty simple to me.
A wake up call? We like being a bit drowsy ;)
What restaurant is yours? It might be a great spot for those who need to spend time on the big island before or after leaving here.
