Hi!

My friends and I are planning on going to Puerto Rico on the 12th and there were some issues we were hoping to resolve.

1. How cold does it get at night?
2. Do we need to worry about flies/mosquitoes?
3. How expensive is food?
4. Do we need permits?
5. Can we cook on the beach or even have a fire?

Reguarding your questions:

1. It gets around the 70's (65-75ºF)
2. Food is expensive, but not that expensive as San Juan or a mayor city.
3. They should be no problem with them as long as the breeze is flowing and you bring enough repellent.
4. For camping you do need a permit. But you can fill the form and pay for it at the beach.
5. As long as you have where to cook, you can do it. But you can not build campfires near the beach or open fires.

Hope this help you.

I am arriving in Culebra on the 12 th of March too, and I was wondering do I need to make camping reservations ahead of time? I need two sites....
Kind-of-worried,
kathryn
