Valerie, whatever you do don't take the ferry from Fajardo. My previous experiences with the ferry were not good ones. It is very unreliable and constantly breaks down. If you are renting a car in Puerto Rico, drive to the Fajardo Airport and fly to Culebra for $50.00 round trip per person. You can also fly from Isla Grande airport in San Juan for about $95-$100.00 per person. Flight time from Fajardo is about 15 minutes, 30 minutes from Isla Grande airport.
