Booking Isla Nena Air
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Hi There,
We will be vacationing on Culebra in Feb. 2008. Is it to early to book Isla Nena air. If so, when should I book our flights into Culebra from San Juan.
Thanks,
Tricia

There is no such thing as a bad vacation. Some are just better than others.

they're sort of notorious for being hard to reach and not booking very early, I've usu. found about 6 weeks or so ahead to work. I mean you can try, but don't be surprised.

'course then some places won't reserve you a jeep until your flight is booked...

teeth-gnashing, but it's always worked out in the past.

Isla Nena is terribly unreliable and occasionally unethical..unless their management has changed in the last year or so. We bought roundtrips on them from SJU to Culebra, but when we tried to book the return portion, they were running NO flights on our departure day--but they refused to refund our money. We filed a complaint with our credit card company and got a chargeback. My friend was arriving SJU in a party of 5 adults and children who were reserved onto Culebra on Isla Nena. And hour or 3 after their flight was supposed to depart SJU, they were told instead by I.N. that they were going to be bussed to Fajardo and flown from there. With no refund because I.N. had lived up to their agreement to get them from SJU to Culebra! They landed on Culebra hours after their scheduled time with no apology from Isla Nena.
FLy on AIR FLAMENCO!!!
