My husband and I will be in Culebra early next month and I recently checked on the price of renting scooters and jeeps(cars). I found that the price for scooters was $42/day and the price of renting a VW Thing from Dick and Cathie's was $40/day and they don't require you to purchase insurance, as some of the other places do. So, unless you really WANT to ride a scooter, you could get a Thing for the same cost. Hope you have a great time and that this message doesn't reach you too late!
