If you decide to fly you can take a flight on Vieques Air Link out of Fajardo Airport. The roundtrip airfare is about $50.00 and it's about a 12 minute flight. I always fly because it allows me extra time on the island without the hassle of having to deal with the ferry and overcrowding.
