Back to jellyfish! Last year moon jellyfish were pretty common in these local waters, but I havent seen one this year. I'm not too keen on swimming with them either, but last year i had to swim through thick hundreds and hundreds of of them (like a bad sci-fi episode, I was horrified) on a snorkel trip and i didnt get stung once. I'm going over to Luis Pena today, and i shall post again if i see any, but so far this winter, I have seen not one (though I've swum thru areas thick with teeny almost microscopic things that might be babies?)
