Personally, I had never even heard of Culebra- sorry- until I saw a post on one of my favorite forums for the Abacos and a writer had likened some of the more remote and friendly islands in the Abacos and Exumas to Culebra and said how very much he liked Culebra. I started investigating! Unfortunatley, the Abacos and Exumas I fell in love with 20 years ago have been "discovered" and I lament it for it is not the same but still very much worth a visit if you hurry!
