The best skorkeling is when you do it by boat, and the boat anchors at the dive site, but that is very expensive.
Snorkeling from shore is good.
For restaurants try to go with locals... La Poncena, Tina's ( do not know if it is still operating ), there is another just in front of the softball arena.
Mamacitas is very good too.
It is an island and there is not much to do than water related activities, snorkel, fish, relax, etc. Take many pictures, and try to get around the island. Go to Zoni, there is not a lot of people there, the beach is very good, and the view is WOW !.
