I've got most things sorted out expect the camp site. Normally this isn't something I'm too concerned with and am happy to roll up and grab a spot. However, like many, we're traveling pretty far to get to Culebra. I've placed a number of calls to the camp site number listed here. After calling around, everyone gives me that number - problem is, no one is picking up.
Short of someone shaking them down and getting them to answer the phone (which seems unlikely), how busy are the camp grounds between June 18th and June 24th? Should I approach this as I do every other camping trip or dare I continue to bother the folks at the camping office?
Also, since Capt Guzman mentioned public transportation, I've been thinking of renting a scooter from, perhaps, Culebra Scooter. Any thoughts?
Thanks again for your help, we're both extremely excited about visiting - we've even started to threaten our friends and family that we are not coming back.
