That's very funny Teresa. You think that we'll be happier with the appearance of "our public land" now that the fence has been fixed up to better keep us out of it?

I understand that you have a job to do and I agree that the suggestion to go there on this forum is wrong. Let me ask this though. If there is no UXO there, then why is the area fenced off to the public. I can only assume that it is a liability issue that the navy doesn't want to get sued if someone gets injured there?

Also is it illegal to visit the helipad even though it is not fenced off? I assume it must be but I wonder why the road that leads up to both these places doesn't have a locked gate at the bottom of the hill? If the idea is to keep people out then that is the logical place to stop them.
