For what its worth.....we were told many of the fruits and vegetables come over on Tuesdays. We found the grocery stores to be lacking in this regard and from what I was saw, it is not easy to find these things on the island. Other than that, the grocery stores were basically a step up (albeit a small one) from a 7-11. Plan on eating out at night and grabbing a sandwhich for lunch. We cooked our breakfasts in the kitchen at Tamarindo.
