That's not odd at all, we had a similar experience when we booked this last May. But trust me it's worth it. I believe the owners are not always on the island, they leave the caretaking to their staff of caretakers who are fabulous and very friendly! If you're looking for a more private quiet area than downtown to stay at- this is your place!!
Just be patient - they'll get in touch with you eventually - remember this is Island Time! Not our hustle & bustle type of attitudes towards schedules! Embrace it & relax!
