I would rent a car in Fajardo, drive through the various marinas/boatyards and find something! - especially because of PR's infatuation with POWER :) We sailors just love the free power that's out there :)
If your 'new' boat is trailerable you might even be able to get it to Culebra on the ferry - don't buy a hunter ... I saw one open in Bermuda after Fabian; not a pretty sight. most people use thicker layers on their sandwich, and once in Culebra it is not that easy to haul a boat, which means you want it to be a little on the rough side :)
