Last year was my first year fishing on Culebra. It was a lot of fun. Caught some red snapper. For sure check on places where fishing is permitted. I met some new friends while camping who had brought fishing gear. We fished on Flamenco Beach near the "Tank", just off of Zone E. Late afternoon we fished for small bait fish then early evening put in our lines for larger stuff. We had a fire pit going and filleted the fish, BBQ'd it and shared with everyone. It was tons of fun. From airport to Flamenco I try to get a taxi. I travel with a backpack and on more than one occasion I've walked it. Like you, I try to exercise and eat healthy when on Culebra.
