Thank you everyone!
Laura, I saw on this forum mentioning about Wal-Mart in Fajardo, but could not find it on the map (even with google’s help). Finally found it yesterday on some kind of local map.
I checked your youtube videos and I like them very much! I was especially interested in hammock, since I would like to sleep in the hammock too, but I’m planning to bring also a tent just in case, plus that way I will have place to store my backpack.
Did people walk by your hammock to the beach? And what was that fire? :) Was it comfortable to sleep in the hammock every night? I’ve never slept in the hammock.
Vicki, idea with John’s Publico is great, but… expensive… For one person it’s a steep price. It probably would be over $70 (with tips). I should have bought earlier airplane tickets for almost that price, and than from Culebra I could've taken a ferry to the Wal-Mart. But now the price for plane tickets are $115. If I could share the cost of John’s Publico with at least one more person, than it would be great. But HOW to find that significant other? :) :(
Arroz, those thoughts crossed my mind before! I know that Wal-Mart doesn’t have good quality. If there was alternative, I would consider it, but it looks like Wal-Mart is the only alternative. Last time I’ve done bike repairs probably over 15 years ago. Repairs definitely not on my to do list :(. If I will have to do repairs, than I probably will look for tools on islands. Don’t really want to take any tools with me. Thank you for advice! Maybe I will at least bring some repair patches.
