Eunie
I feel obligated to warn you about Tamarindo Estates. Although it is a beautiful place there are some things you must know before hand. First, you must rent a car for your entire stay because the place is very secluded and local taxis will not go there unless it is a large group. (they charge by person) Second, you must know that the beach they have is not swimming, it is stricktly for snorkeling. Third, you must know that you will have to buy your own groceries because the restaurant they have is only open a few times during the day. Finally you must know that the swimming pool is 5 feet deep all the way around so if you have small children they will not enjoy the swimming pool that much. I understand that if you go there knowing these things I just told you, you will have a great time because the place is beautiful and the island is beautiful. PS Do not leave the island without going to Flamenco Beach, it is the most beautiful beach I have seen in my life and it was named the 2nd best beach in the United States by a TV program in the Travel Channel last year. Best wishes, Roberto
