Well, it's always nice to see improvements in safety and service at the airports. Not having to take the 20-minute cab ride to Isla Grande is a bit more convenient but... Is it really needed? Are Air Flamenco and Vieques Air Link flights that filled? Call me suspicious but after hearing about developers wanting to tear down the Arte store and build a hotel I scrutinize everything a bit more. How much of a demand is there? What’s behind it? What’s the motive? Is this going to lead to more unwanted unneeded development projects? I’m all for development but it has to be done in a responsible way. The magic of Culebra is fragile and could easily be crushed by greed.
