I have swam at Brava many times. It's the surf conditions that you need to be mindful of. In the winter it usually has LARGE surges that come in from the North. I did not notice a rip tide but that can change day to day. If it is calm then swimming is fine. Rasaca has the same surf conditions as Brava. Zoni has Cayo Norte in front of it to block the large surf; though they do sneak in on the Western end of the beach.
