As far as I remember you dont need a reservation, its usually pretty quite over there, except the week before easter so I hear, but you should be able to just show up and get a spot... as for the phone thing, dont expect to get a hold of anyone unless they are standing in front of you, its part of what makes the islands so nice and laid back!
