empty beaches...
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Hi! This forum is great for preparing my trip to Culebra! Thanks to everyone for the insight!

I'll be enjoying my honeymoon there in May and our goal is to enjoy the most isolated areas we can find... but I've been reading that things can get really busy, especially at Flamenco and Culebrita around holidays. We'll be there over memorial day weekend, coming Thursday and leaving Monday morning... how bad do the crowds really get away from Flamenco? Will Zoni have a lot of people? If we're willing to hike to Brava or Resaca is it reasonable to think we could find ourselves fairly isolated from people? I love the idea of being, even if just for a short time, the only ones on one of the isolated and peaceful Culebra beaches I've been reading about... any thoughts or suggestions??

Thank you!
