We rented bikes both years from Dick and Kathie, and Dick came out to our place in the morning to pick up our bikes. He dropped us and our luggage at the ferry dock in plenty of time to catch the 6:30 a.m. ferry. Don't know if he would do the same if you rented a Thing from him, but he's a nice guy, probably would.
