Good evening,
You could likely purchase a ticket at the ticket window in Fajardo (they do not seel tickets on the boat) for the 4am cargo boat, however I'm not sure WHY you would want to. Nothing will be open & you won't be able to check in anyplace. I'd spend the night in a hotel & take the 9am ferry or better yet, fly.
