If you're only there for two nights, you can be awfully happy just hanging around Flamenco and walking over the hill for great snorkeling. It's not a hard hike, though I'm not sure about the 80 year old. (If I were 80, I could do it. Or at least, I'm counting on it! I'll know for sure in another few decades!)
Culebra is a destination in itself. And Flamenco is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. So my advice is to just relax and enjoy the area around Flamenco and Carlos Rosario. It would be crazy to spend a lot of time and effort trying to go to other places on (or off) the island when you're only there for a day or two.
