dont recommend the ferry although it's cheap $2.50 - takes around 90 mins. we had a two hour delay at fajardo and the departure room was a scene from a night mare. if you can afford it, fly - $20.00 each way and takes 15 mins. also, ferry will not always take cars etc. you can hire a car over there - coral reef car hire or carlos jeeps (i think). no public transport.
someone with a few bob to spae could make a killing with a few buses and taxis. also no public phone at the ferry port on culebra.
but the island is wonderful, despite the cons!
