I agree with Rosario for a beginner, the reef wall shelters it from chop and creates a very calm and relatively shallow, clear basin. for the older ones up for deeper water said wall provides some diversion. (but there are urchins at the first entrance from the path). the B+W, largely transparent fish are so curious and friendly that just wading might amuse a kid, but then who can predict what sets off the lovable little morons?
