Hola! We tried to bike from the place we were staying, Casita Tropical to Flamingo Beach. We ended up tying up the bikes mid way and taking a publico. We did however bike to the colmados, to town and everywhere in between and yes, lots of walking. Did I mention it was in the heat of July. It was fun though, we're still talking about our adventures. If you're fit, go for it, if not take a publico or rent a car and try to give others a ride. Be green! Happy travels! J
