I hear comments from bike riders ALL of the time (sitting at the cart where a lot of them come by) and it really is just about what your stamina and experience are (not what you think or hope they are, but what they really are).
Some say, Oh, GREAT ride!!! Others decide to turn in the bike to rent a scooter or car. And every permutation in between. I just say, got water? Got sunscreen? Got a hat? Go for it then!
Worse case, you walk the bike. Best case, you love the views from the hilltops and the downhill cruisy parts!
