Looks like MJ would be the one to answer my questions. Looking forward to meeting you. I lived on Vieques for a couple of years back in the 70s (USMC, Camp Garcia). I always loved the islands. I've been to St Thomas several times since. I am selling the family Chevy store this month. Tired of feeding the money cow. When this deal is done I am hauling a##. Culebra is my destination. I may stay a month or longer. I am looking for very inexpensive accomidations.( the business sold at a very big loss). If I just show up with out any reservations sometime in December will I be able to find a place to lay my head. I am throwing away my schedule, my cell phone and my watch. I dont like to travel with much cash but being there for that lenght of time I will need a little. Is there a local bank where i can transfer some funds or deposit a cashiers check or does some one have a suggestion. I am traveling alone (just rapping up my 3rd divorce). I am looking for an oppertunity to regroup and figure out what to do with the rest of my life. (any job openings in the area ha). Thanks in advance for the info. Dana
