You heard right. Culebra definitely gets invaded during Spring break. PR's college break may not coiincide with yours but if it does prepare yourself for rowdy full ferry rides, and drunken but cute youngsters out on the beach at all hours of the night. Still, compared to most other places Culebra will seem pristine, even then. The college kids hang predominately by the campgrounds. If you're staying somewhere else you may not see them much. They come with all their supplies (in coolers) so you may not even run into them in town.
