Flight time: that's a good point to note, not just Flamenco and I never stop pointing it out, given that some get ticked off - don't care myself anymore now, it's factored in to the equation.
It always seems late on the the way to the island and early on the way back to SJU. and that's not just perception.
I got yanked out of line at the bakery by the pilot himself once (before the airport cafe existed). it was cool, we took a shortcut and smoked cigarettes on the way onto the tarmac. My problem that time was a 9:30 AM flight turned into 9:00 (or something) best I can figure they knew we were there at the airport and the pilot lives there - so take the plane back to SJU, heck, let's go. no hard feelings, wanted the coffee, but did not need it.
want vs. need - an evaluation that I think is salient on many levels and in many contexts.
