Yes, E is the prettiest and most remote. The front office tries to save that for mainland Americans mostly, and tries to put families in D, and the locals (meaning from the PR main island) in A, B, and C.
Definitely there are less people in E because it's a long walk away from the entrance area, and it's a LONG way to lug your stuff. But it's worth it.
E is quieter on the whole, but you'll still have noise incidents, especially on weekends or holidays. But midweek it is usually fantastic.
Which do you prefer? Remoteness or convenience?
My family thought they wanted convenience, but when I brought them to E, they were sold. We got used to the walk really quickly. We even got so that we enjoyed it a lot. We usually walked on the beach rather than the road... It's just as fast.
There are bathrooms in every section. There are showers at the entrance and at E, but the E showers are disabled. Sooner or later they'll be fixed. I was actually happy that they were broken because it helped make E less crowded.
