Well, hate is a word I reserve for really rare situations, but I'm a word freak, so I get the idea here...
But personally, I'd use the word vexed.
vexed
adj 1: troubled persistently especially with petty annoyances;
"harassed working mothers"; "a harried expression";
"her poor pestered father had to endure her constant
interruptions"; "the vexed parents of an unruly
teenager" [syn: annoyed, harassed, harried, pestered]
2: causing difficulty in finding an answer or solution; much
disputed; "the vexed issue of priorities"; "we live in
vexed and troubled times"
One of my favorite people is a woman from Dominica. She uses the word vexed in a way that is strong enough to hope it is never directed toward me. "He vexed me so BAD, girl!!!" Yikes!
Bottom line - yep, sometimes I get vexed and give voice...but it all rolls out in the wash eventually...and Culebra, sort of like the sun and sea - pretty much ignores me and carries right on being Culebra...a good thing, and good advice :)
