A young woman recently new to the island stayed at Flamenco for quite awhile and loved it. I stayed there myself when first arriving (of course, I'm not real young!). But savvy is savvy. I think you can feel quite safe...but for any men who might want to get friendlier than you wish, treat them like mosquitos...a verbal, smiling, polite swat is enough to get the message across!
