Thanks for this information. I trust this experience based forum and will continue to come here; why would I need to go elsewhere, to another site?
I do remember in the summer of 1969 that in order to travel to Ketchikan, Alaska, my family (Americans) could not get on the Danish gambling
Alaskan 'state ferry' (that was licensed in Liberia) in Seattle; we hitchhiked overnight to Br. Colombia to book passage to Ketchikan the following day. Travel can be complicated!
