Resaca and Brava, while secluded, aren't for novice swimmers. Powerful currents and undertow are possible there. Beautiful to look at, difficult to swim.

Carlos Rosario, parts of Tamarindo, Punta Soldado, Zoni's extreme western reach are all places to get away. In addition to the aforementioned Culebrita, there are several nice water-taxi accessable beaches on Cayo Luis Pena.

If you rent yoour jeep from Jerry, you will have a map that not only tells you all you need to know about the island, but may bring a tidy sum at auction - watch Antiques Roadshow for details.
