Re: thinking of moving
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Please go! Culebra could use more fine dining. At the moment, only two restaurants - Ricci's at Tamarindo and Club Seaborne's restaurant really offer fine dining. Don't get me wrong - there is good food on the island, but a "fine" dining destination it is not. Cafe Isola (on the ferry dock) has superb food, but are only open for lunch, and they serve excellent tapas three nights a week. Try cobia while you're there (prepared any way) - it's fresh from an in-water fish farm in Culebra's waters - excellent!

25 is a great age to pick up and see the world; myself, I'm waiting to make my fortune before hopefully moving that way. Culebra is generally always short on help, so I believe you could find a job easily (or open your own place maybe, although the Puerto Rico permitting process is a bit of a nightmare, I hear).

Don't worry about not being bilingual - the Puerto Ricans have such an advantage being raised in a Spanish speaking, US territory - they are all bilingual. You won't have too much of a problem.

Happy Diving!
Debbie
