Yeah on the smoking ban in public places.
I work with older adults, mainly women, most 70+ years old. Many have COPD and asthma; of these, all lived most of their 70+ years not smoking but living with 2nd hand smoke. Several of the rest are literally killing themselves with tobacco. The health conditions of both non-smokers and smokers is disturbing for me.
You've probably never seen the 1960's anti-smoking poster woman; her quote is, 'smoking is so glamorous'. Cheers from Maine.
