Bringing Jeep on Ferry

What does it cost to bring Jeep or Explorer across on the ferry? I was wondering if it would be better to bring a Jeep from Puerto Rico or rent one on Culebra.

I just returned from a trip to Culebra. It costs about $26 to bring a car on the ferry and you'll need a reservation. Information is available under the transport section of this website. I would recommend renting a jeep there, because as of a week ago the street from the dock to the main street was completely blocked with construction. I don't know if the cargo ferry is currently docking elsewhere, however.

Hello,

From my experience I think is better to rent a jeep in Culebra. We went there on February, and we rented a brand new jeep wrangler from Thrifty Car Rental, it was great, because you can take the top off, etc. It's the best.
