Well...I finally scheduled my flight.
I will be arriving Aug 24th on your awesome island and staying for TEN days, thats right, TEN whole days. YAYYYY!!!! I am SO excited!! I have been coming each year for the past six years and regretfully did not visit last year....so I am kinda two years behind of my Culebra fix!
I can't wait to be runnin' around the island in one of Dick's volkswagon things...(I hope I get the white one--we always had the white one in the past)---and yes, I have called Dick and confirmed my arrival and departure dates...guess I should call him back and ask if I can have the white one.
I'll be staying at Merna's place...Villa Fulladosa. She is extremely pleasant!
This trip is going to be SO awesome. As I recall, one of my fondest memories of the start of the trip is seeing Dick, sittin in that volkswagon thing at the airport....first words out of his mouth were always somethin like "wanna go on a beer run first?".....AWESOME STUFF!!!!
I guess the island should be fairly quiet during this time....with the exception of the labor day weekend.
*Just how crazy does it get over Labor Day? I heard Flamenco usually gets crowded...but I actually enjoy the less crowded areas like Playa Rasaca anyway.
You Culebrans, Culebrites, Island Residents are some EXTREMELY LUCKY PEOPLES!!!!
When I hit the lottery here in the states, I'll buy that mansion on the mountain top over by Zoni and start calling everyone neighbors!! lol
