Visiting Puerto Rico

Hi,

I'm going to be flying into San Juan Puerto Rico. I've been reading a lot of reviews and articles on things to do while I'm there. I still have a few questions.

My travel dates will be Friday to Monday

I want to take a cab or shuttle to Farjado and catch a ferry ride to Culebra...
My hope is to return back the same day...

Is this the best way to get to Culbera? Should I take a taxi or shuttle...

Where do I get more information about the ferry rides?

Or is the day trip even worth it... Total travel time may be over 2 hours each way including the ferry and car ride.. Not sure if I should do this since we only have 3 full days there... Thanks for your help.

If you want to get back the same day and leave from San Juan - the best is to take a plane ride. We paid $ 90 round trip and it was great fun. It is an 8 seater plan and leaves from the small airport in San Juan near the old city.
You will get a good 7 hours as you can arrive by 9 and leave by 4 pm
There may be later flights also.

Taxi is $ 50 SanJuan to Farjado each way - so that is $ 100 - the ferry is only $ 2.25 each way. There are 3 rides a day depending on the day of the week. So max you will get 5 hours as the earlist arrives at 11am and last departs at 4 pm
